Why shiatsu?
Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing complementary therapy which uses finger pressure; it improves general wellbeing and is effective in reducing the symptoms of a wide variety of ailments. It helps the body to rebalance itself to relieve physical tension, aid relaxation and improve overall wellbeing. It’s generally a wonderfully relaxing experience.
Shiatsu in the workplace is normally carried out on a massage chair which is perfect for the work environment. No oils are used. The recipients receive 20 or 40 minute shiatsu sessions. Working mainly on the back, shoulders, neck and head it helps to refresh, restore and revitalise, helping to keep you de-stressed and focused. Shiatsu massage can help joint and back pain, neck stiffness, headaches and anxiety and many more conditions. Shiatsu massage in the workplace has never been more relevant or necessary.
Receiving regular Shiatsu is a wonderful way of maintaining your wellbeing and preventing that build-up of stress and tension that can often be damaging to our health. Shiatsu can also provide support at difficult times such as bereavement and divorce.
